Apart from the manualy entered orders via internet we're supporting three methods of automated data entry:
- XLS; the propierity format of Microsoft Excel worksheets
- CSV; which stands for Comma Seperated Values
- XML; we have defined a suitable XML format in which orders are defined
- emailing the customer
- sending an SMS to the customer
- inform the drivers wife to let her know he's going to be late for diner
Of course these are only examples but the point is you can inform different parties in a number of ways (email, SMS, HTTP) when an order receives a certain status.

POST GPRS. Because the program also operates in Australia, and a GPRS connection isn't widely available, the question arose to simply be able to work even when there is no GPRS connection. The program is currently also given the capability to store data on the PDA where the data is transmitted to the server at a time when the speed exceeds 15 km / h and a GPRS connection can be established.
